As an organisation we adhere to the World Council of Churches declaration which reads as follows:

"To work as a fellowship of churches which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the scriptures, and therefore seek to fulfil together their common calling to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit."

In addition we have adopted the Faithworks Charter.

Welcome to the Restore Project

Thanks for dropping in on us, here is some of who we are and what we do....

We are a Christian volunteer led charity committed to befriending and helping/working with /outreaching to women in the sex trade in Derby. We have been running for over fifteen years, training volunteers and partnering with many local churches across the city. For many years through offering 'hope and opportunity to change' we have been privileged to see effective life change among those trapped in dependent lifestyles.

"Restore gently take the love and grace of God to some of the most broken people in the city, with the message that somebody does care and has not given up on them. They go to places that Jesus would have gone, and deserve all the support that we can give them"

Graham Watkins, Pastor of Osmaston Road Baptist Church and Director of Derby City Mission.

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter--when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"

Isaiah 58 v6,7
